I have a connection with an auto dealer in town, so I can "play with cars" for up to a week. Recently, I played with a 2004 Toyota Echo, which was not so fun. It was the most boring car I have ever driven, and it is not worth the $14,000 msrp on the...

Its a Toyota, and Gas Mileage

Poor quality, NO engine.

If you want your back to hurt, and your legs in pain buy it. Its not worth the great gas mileage.

Purchased new July, 2004 in Manitoba, Canada (forgive my metric references please!) Kilometers travelled: 1,800 Style: 4 door sedan Transmission: Standard Optional Equipment: 15" wheels, Cruise Control, power locks. This car's primary purpose...

Gas mileage, excellent fit and finish, Toyota quality.

Instability at highway speeds/constant correcting needed during crosswinds. All other highway conditions OK.

Fantastic city driver, terrible highway driver if driving in a cross-wind situation (I can't stress this enough), otherwise, highway driving OK.

This car is great. My Echo is my first non-hand-me-down car I've owned and it's been a good choice. I purchased the car back in November of 2003. I had two primary concerns when purchasing my first new car – 1) good gas mileage and 2) can I fit in...

Interior roominess, gas mileage, handling, pick up, price tag.

Black stickers between doors on two door, no CD Player on base model

Buy this car!

I got the 2004 base model 4 door. No bells and whistles, standard trasmission. I'm a big guy, 6'2" 260 so I need my room. This car has it. I don't think I ever really sat in the back seat but it's my car so why would I. The front is good to go though...

Gas milage, roomy, fun to drive, storage space

Have to fight it behind transports and in crosswinds

I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Might splurge for air conditioning next time though. You will not be dissapointed in this car
